CCSP’s annual Family Partnership Excellence Awards are annual grants offered to NSW Catholic schools that show exemplary practice in family, school and community partnerships. The first place award recipient receives $5,000 to support the further development of an existing initiative that builds parent and community engagement through collaborative partnerships.
What’s on offer:
- First place: $5,000 to continue and grow an existing partnership-focused initiative
- The award presented at the school by the CCSP Executive Director, with a short 2–3 minute showcase video produced with a CCSP-organised videographer
- Recognition of exemplary family, school and community partnership practice
Who is eligible:
- All NSW Catholic diocesan and member congregational school communities
- Applications may be made by Parents and Friends Associations (or similar parent bodies), individual schools, or clusters of schools
- The initiative may have commenced before or in the current year
- Applications must be endorsed by both the school principal and the president/chair of the school’s parent body, or a nominated member of the parent community
How to enter:
- Download the 2026 Submission Form and respond to the six judging criteria (up to 200 words each)
- Complete the online entry form, uploading your submission form and any supporting files
Judging criteria: a genuinely collaborative partnership between families, the school and, where applicable, the broader community; authentic parent engagement; how the project has enhanced student wellbeing, learning and outcomes; sustainable resourcing and the likelihood of the initiative being replicated in other Catholic school communities; evidence of effectiveness including testimonials from parents, teachers, students or others; and how the $5,000 award money would be spent.
Applications close 5pm Friday 16 October 2026. Applications opened on 20 July 2026.
