SUMMARY:2026 Family Partnerships Excellence Awards
DESCRIPTION:CCSP’s annual Family Partnership Excellence Awards are annual grants offered to NSW Catholic schools that show exemplary practice in family\, school and community partnerships. The first place award recipient receives $5\,000 to support the further development of an existing initiative that builds parent and community engagement through collaborative partnerships. \nWhat’s on offer: \n\nFirst place: $5\,000 to continue and grow an existing partnership-focused initiative\nThe award presented at the school by the CCSP Executive Director\, with a short 2–3 minute showcase video produced with a CCSP-organised videographer\nRecognition of exemplary family\, school and community partnership practice\n\nWho is eligible: \n\nAll NSW Catholic diocesan and member congregational school communities\nApplications may be made by Parents and Friends Associations (or similar parent bodies)\, individual schools\, or clusters of schools\nThe initiative may have commenced before or in the current year\nApplications must be endorsed by both the school principal and the president/chair of the school’s parent body\, or a nominated member of the parent community\n\nHow to enter: \n\nDownload the 2026 Submission Form and respond to the six judging criteria (up to 200 words each)\nComplete the online entry form\, uploading your submission form and any supporting files\n\nJudging criteria: a genuinely collaborative partnership between families\, the school and\, where applicable\, the broader community; authentic parent engagement; how the project has enhanced student wellbeing\, learning and outcomes; sustainable resourcing and the likelihood of the initiative being replicated in other Catholic school communities; evidence of effectiveness including testimonials from parents\, teachers\, students or others; and how the $5\,000 award money would be spent. \nApplications close 5pm Friday 16 October 2026.
