Take Courage. Lead Globally. – World Youth Day Leadership Experience with Notre Dame University’s Global Centre for Catholic Leaders.

The Global Centre for Catholic Leaders offers this unique opportunity to take part in a World Youth Day experience that will draw together emerging Catholic leaders from across the globe to be at the forefront of Catholic education leadership going forward.

Online formation sessions with Catholic leaders working in a range of roles and from across continents run from July 2026, and this experience culminates at World Youth Day in Seoul in August 2027, including an in-person retreat both before and after World Youth Day.

Participants will benefit from:

• Opportunities for personal faith development
• A deeper appreciation of the global Church and Catholic education systems
• Development of international networks
• Peer learning
• Development of skills that will allow them to strategically direct education policy to ensure it consistently reflects the depth and richness of Catholic teaching
• Consideration of ways in which to proactively develop policy and programs that respond effectively to emerging needs and educational trends

Monthly formation themes include: Contours of contemporary culture that impact leadership · The gift of Papal leadership · Courage and fortitude · Christ-like leadership · Global church, global responsibility · Leading emerging generations · Decision making processes for leaders · Leaders you need to meet · Catholic education’s mission today · Leading well: integral human development · Pilgrimage and WYD.

We invite you to nominate those aged between 20 and 35 working in Catholic education to participate in this formative experience.
