Dr Judith Howard presents a Trauma Aware Approach to Education
The prevalence of children and young people who have lived through the harm of complex trauma is worrying and growing and many of these young Australians are sitting in classrooms and other learning environments across our country.
As a follow up to her previous presentation for ACSL in 2024, Judith will share practical strategies and approaches that are recommended to support trauma-impacted students, and will explain why these are recommended from a neuroscience and trauma-aware perspective. The previous presentation was recorded and can be viewed here.
