Social Cohesion building has become a key topic in the national discourse. It influences Community, Political and National Security dialogues. Spiritual Care is integral to building Social Cohesion and Trust; it ties into both individual and community wellbeing and the ability to understand and walk together in diversity. Social Cohesion and trust-building start at the local and regional level. The roles of Spiritual Care Practitioners, providers and Chaplains are highlighted in care provided after natural disasters and acts of terror. This topic allows us to shine a light on the work of our Disaster Recovery, Emergency Services, Community and Defence Chaplains, Spiritual Care Providers and Practitioners, while still engaging with the wonderful work of those in hospitals and industry who bring people together in times of crisis.
We hope you will join us and engage with some amazing leaders, researchers, and practitioners working in this area.
