The Healing Journey: from fear and uncertainty to safety and hope — The Good Samaritan Inn Story, presented by Jemma Mead & Patricia Bergin.
Jemma is the Chief Executive Officer of Good Samaritan Inn, a specialist service providing crisis, short-term and transitional accommodation, together with comprehensive support, for women, gender-diverse people, children and young people experiencing family violence. She has more than 30 years’ experience across the community services sector, including family violence, homelessness, mental health, community health and children, youth and family services.
Patricia is Chair of the Good Samaritan Inn Board, bringing extensive experience in governance, leadership and organisational strategy across the Catholic, education and not-for-profit sectors. She is committed to ensuring the Inn continues to provide high-quality, mission-driven services that support women, children and young people experiencing family violence and homelessness.
Sharing the meal is an important part of the time together. Meals are served from 6:00pm; the presentation and conversation follow.
