This interactive workshop allows learners to explore the term “adult at risk” and identify the essential safeguarding principles related to individuals within this category.

Learning Outcomes

By completing this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Define the term “adult at risk”.
  • Identify risk factors for adults at risk.
  • Describe the issue of transient risk and its importance.
  • Identify situations which could lead to adults becoming at risk.
  • Describe safeguarding considerations for adults at risk.

Duration

This workshop is 2 hours.

Learners will receive a copy of the slides after the session. Numbers are restricted to ensure effective group discussions and interaction.
