Our next presentation, Prayer: What is it? Is there a way to pray that suits me? will begin in the Mary Elliott Room by Brother Barry Donaghue (Christian Brother).
Prayer is always our response to the Presence of God. There are many possible ways into prayer, but they far too often inhibited in various ways, so that they do not actually lead to prayer. Many people also consider prayer as an ‘add-on’, instead of being intrinsically intertwined with our humanity—even our brain waves are geared for prayer. On this morning we shall look at and try out some forms of prayer that bring us to experiencing the richness of communication with our God.
