Our next presentation, Labyrinth Reflection Day – The Winter Face of God will begin in the Mary Elliott Room by Brother Barry Donaghue (Christian Brother).
If death be the harvesting of life, O God, may my death be a bumper crop!
Is the time of our birth spring or winter? Is the time of our old age winter or autumn? When the owl calls my name will I have only visited this planet or lived life and lived it to the full?
The sacred geometry of the labyrinth is only a tool, but a tool that is superb at assisting us to bring to the surface that which, pushed deep beneath the surface, nonetheless exercises control over us. On this day we shall use some reflective input to help us decide the initial direction of our walking and then leave it to the labyrinth to swing the compass to where it needs to point, because that is where we need to go.
