This free webinar will focus on preventing and responding to the abuse of older people, and cover:

– How to recognise and respond to elder abuse.
– Supporting older people and their representatives to raise concerns and access services.
– The Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS).
– Charter of Aged Care Rights.
– The value of advocacy.

This session will be presented by Briony Underwood, Team Leader Education, Elder Rights Advocacy Victoria (part of Older Persons Advocacy Network, OPAN).
