WATAC, a progressive feminist voice in the Australian Church, is delighted to present the next instalment of our Sacred Conversations series: Cultivating Hope in Our Work, Lives, and Communities: Insights from Psychology. This event will feature Suzanne (Suzy) Butz, a Somatic and Family Psychotherapist with a deep passion for helping people move beyond stress and trauma to a place of true thriving.
In a world where uncertainty and stress seem ever-present, Suzy will offer practical insights grounded in neuroscience and psychotherapy, helping us understand how stress affects the body and how we can complete the body’s natural stress response. She will explore why humans—unlike any other species—are uniquely susceptible to PTSD and how we can shift from merely surviving to truly thriving.
Suzy is committed to equipping people with the knowledge and tools to transform their inner experiences. With a new online program launching soon, she hopes to make these life-changing insights accessible to all.
This Sacred Conversations event is a unique opportunity to learn to cultivate hope, resilience, and well-being within ourselves and our communities.
Join us for this thought-provoking discussion and discover how to reclaim hope in challenging times.
