The 3rd National Conference of the Australian Friends of the Camino (AFotC) will be held Friday 24 July to Sunday 26 July, 2026 on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The conference is being hosted by the Sunshine Coast Camino Group, one of the largest and most active groups in Australia, who enthusiastically celebrates the camaraderie of the Camino de Santiago and other pilgrimage routes across the world.
The weekend is your chance to relive and reminisce about your pilgrimage, learn from seasoned pilgrims about a future pilgrimage, and connect with like-minded souls. Expect a mix of inspiring talks, uplifting presentations and engaging activities with plenty of opportunities to share stories and laughter while enjoying the camaraderie of the Camino community.
This event will be hosted at Alexandra Park Conference Centre, Alexandra Headland. Registration will be from Friday afternoon, followed by a full program of events, presentations, discussions and activities until 1.30pm on Sunday.
