Join the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle on the aMeN caMiNo weekend experience.
aMeN caMiNo is held in August 6-10 (on August 8 we walk into a Coorangbong- a place Mary MacKillop visited). We walk through the bush, along the lake and beach for 5 days- 100kms.
In September during the Season of Creation we hold a weekend experience in the Myall Coast
Amen is the word Christian’s use to say ‘Yes, we are on our way to God.’ By joining us on the “aMeN CaMiNo”, you are saying yes to something in your heart which is calling you.
The aMeN CaMiNo is a response to a desire to be in communion with each other and our sacred earth. It is an opportunity to pause from routine, immerse yourself in reflection, contemplation and to provide a moment of space for each person to be conscious of God’s gift of Grace.
Set in the Myall Coast you are invited to walk amongst God’s creations during the Season of Creation. Pilgrims can choose to walk 5km or 12km on day one, and 5km or 8km on day two.
Pilgrims can choose to experience only one day or two.
There is opportunity for prayer, reflection and formation.
