Pope Francis, chose this theme from the Gospel of St. John reminding young people that as we “Rise up” from Lisbon to make haste, we do so as “Pilgrims of Hope” first stopping in Rome for the Jubilee of Youth and then, just like the laity who brought the faith to the Orient, we will move onward to Seoul, S. Korea
