Our next presentation, Practicing the WAY – Apprenticing to Jesus will begin in the Mary Elliott Room by Brother Barry Donaghue (Christian Brother).
Jesus of Nazareth never asked for adoration or for people to worship him. He did ask us to follow him, and he did ask us to do what he did, to be him in our ambience.
In 1st century Palestine, discipleship was a kind of apprenticeship where the disciple travelled with the master, learned how to take on his values or ‘yoke’, and then was sent out to be him in the world.
So how do we take up this role in 2026? Do we even want to?
