Celtic Spirituality invites an awareness to a unique belonging with one’s soul and with the soul of all of creation. This retreat will explore several of the main themes which can be found in the essence of Christian Celtic Spirituality, offering an ancient way to navigate life today. These include Blessing, Soul friendship, Thresholds, Dreaming and Life as Pilgrimage.
The Ignatian Way finds a home in Celtic Spirituality too, particularly through the lens of Creation, the sacred in all things and life as a Pilgrimage. The two pathways will gently intertwine over the weekend.
Using imagery, music, story and creative expression, participants will be given time to reflect and consider these themes. Woven into the weekend will be Celtic music, song, and poetry.
