This six-day contemplative retreat allows the space and opportunity to “hear” and “experience” the force in the Universe calling us; permitting “a spirit to be infused into us from on high; allowing our deserts to become gardens… (Isaiah 32:15) enabling us to plant seeds of Peace and Hope in our fragile world. Pope Leo reminds us that: “Only a contemplative gaze can change our relationship with created things and lead us out of the ecological crisis caused by the rupture of relationships—with God, with our neighbour, and with the earth” (Pope Leo 09 July 2025). So, let’s plant seeds of Hope and Peace! Among resources used this week will be Laudate Si and Laduate Deum.
Who is it for?
This six-day contemplative retreat is open to all who long to slow down, enter stillness, and deepen their connection with God, self, others, and the earth.

Meet Your Facilitator, Ann Morrison rsj
Sr Ann Morrison is a Sister of Joseph of the Sacred Heart, currently residing in the beautiful Blue Mountains at Katoomba NSW. Ann’s main ministry is Retreat Facilitation, Spiritual Direction and Adult Faith Formation. Ann endeavours to use educational, pastoral, scriptural and life experiences to develop more deeply her call to be aware of and utilise the activity of God in life to live more authentically from that space.
