Hartford College presents renowned Catholic author and international speaker, Joseph Pearce
Joseph is a respected biographer, academic and author of over 30 books. His inspiring conversion story has deeply influenced his work.
Today, the art of learning faces challenges from relativism and secularism. Joseph Pearce explores how the truth of the ages and the great texts are an antidote to modern education systems that come and go. He will also highlight the principles of an education that is not afraid to grapple with the truth, fostering a yearning for its discovery. Students are taught to freely seek the truth with the highest standards of enquiry. This is an education that upholds life-affirming values and counters the destructive ideologies of our time.
Joseph will speak on “A Matter of Life and Death: The Battle for a True Education”. An engaging, thought-provoking and inspiring event.
