Each week offers a chance to pause, reflect, and rest in the spirit. You’ll explore simple, practical ways to meditate and pray in Christian and Ignatian Spirituality traditions. There will be moments of silence, stillness, and you will learn to tap into your imagination to journey with Jesus in the Gospels.
The series will focus on practical meditation experiences, with short, easy to follow explanations.
Come as you are. All are welcome. No spiritual, meditation/prayer or religious experience is necessary.
This icon is of St Ignatius of Loyola, the 16thC founder of the Jesuits, by artist Franciscan friar, Robert Lenz OFM. It signifies two vital aspects of contemplative prayer – silence, so as to hear the “still, small voice of God”; and entering into one’s heart where we find the Spirit of Christ waiting to commune with us.
