The 2025 GSE Triennial Conference program is designed to engage and challenge our extended Good Samaritan Education community to shape the dialogue of our ministry’s future in a dynamic and changing landscape.
The conference is open to those in Leadership and Governance roles across our Good Samaritan Education community and its friends and coworkers. In 2025, GSE will extend a special invitation to Good Samaritan Network Schools (GSSN).
Our theme, ‘Ever Ancient, Ever New,’ is derived from a quote from St Augustine of Hippo lamenting that too late in life, he came to appreciate the beauty in the timelessness of God as both a comfort, challenge and surprise in his unfolding journey.
In the Good Samaritan Benedictine tradition, we keep front of mind that education is a sacred journey of encounter with the Divine, in our relationships with others, the Earth, and all creation. The theme “Ever Ancient, Ever New” invites us to reflect on the enduring values of stewardship, justice, and conversatio, ensuring care for the past, the present, and the future with equal concern.
