DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special event exploring the powerful Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus\, a devotion that is experiencing a renewed interest in our time. \nLocation: \nSt Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Hall\n290 Childs Road\nMill Park\, Vic\, 3082 \nThis event\, sponsored by Heartfelt Community and in collaboration with Parousia Media\, will feature Fr Lawrence Carney\, author of The Secret of the Holy Face\, who has dedicated many years to promoting and teaching this powerful devotion. Fr Carney will share the history\, meaning\, and spiritual significance of the Holy Face devotion and how simple daily prayers can become a profound act of reparation and renewal in our world. \nHeartfelt Community is devoted to walking alongside those in grief. Through creating spaces of connection\, reflection\, and being in a community of faith\, Heartfelt supports individuals in bringing their sorrow before Christ — allowing grief to be held with compassion and gently transformed into hope. \nBooking Essential – limited seats  (Tickets are free for entry / donations will be collected after talk) \nHeartfelt would also like to extend their gratitude to Parousia Media in joining us to support Father Lawrence Carney’s tour to Australia in spreading the devotion to The Holy Face of Jesus. \nHeartfelt is honoured to host this gathering. Come and discover how devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus can strengthen faith\, inspire hope and healing\, and bring peace to our families\, communities\, and our nation. \nParking available on site \n  \nFR LAWRENCE CARNEY- \nBACKGROUND FOR INTRODUCTION BEFORE HIS TALKS \nFather Lawrence Carney was ordained for the Diocese of Wichita in 2007. He was Chaplain of the Benedictines of Mary\, Queen of Apostles from 2013-2022 where he knew Sr. Wilhelmina. He has been a missionary priest in the streets of US cities over the last decade wearing the cassock and carrying a crucifix and a rosary in an effort to bring souls to the Catholic Church. In 2017\, he began the League of St. Martin\, a pious association of the faithful that prays for reverence\, reparation\, and reversion—the chief goals being enrollment in the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face and the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. He has authored six books including The Secret of the Holy Face: The Devotion Destined to Save Society. He travels the world giving missions\, conferences and retreats on the Holy Face of Jesus in the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face with a hope to have 1 million enrolled in the Confraternities of the Holy Face. \n
