Discere — a free, one-day retreat to start the new year with prayer and discernment about where God is calling you in 2026 and beyond.
Discere is an opportunity for young single Catholic’s (18–35 years) to intentionally pause and ask the question, “Where is God calling me?” in a peaceful, supportive and safe environment.
There will be time for prayer, reflection and group sharing, and opportunities to hear from priests, religious and married spouses about their discernment journeys.
The team from Vocation Brisbane will also provide information about the different Catholic vocations (Ordained, Religious/Consecrated, Single & Married Life), while helping shed light on what ‘discernment’ actually means and offer practical tips on how to discern in your everyday life.
