The Eucharist and Devotion
Presented by Rev Dr Benjamin Johnson OFMCap
Referring to the Eucharist, St John Paul II, stated that “there can be no danger of excess in our care for this mystery.” The Eucharist, as the most perfect sacrament, is fitting of our greatest devotion. To explore devotion and the Eucharist, this course outlines specific Catholic practices that cultivate love and due honour for the Blessed Sacrament. For this purpose, we will discuss devotion both on the personal disposition level and the external forms of it that evoke the grandeur of the Eucharist.
