Our next presentation, Chronos and Kairos will begin in the Mary Elliott Room by Brother Barry Donaghue (Christian Brother).
The material and spiritual are one. Jesus showed us this throughout his life. However, we tend to live in Chronos time, time as duration, as drops of sand one following another. The spiritual life, however, needs Kairos time, which is more of a time lapse, a moment of indeterminate time in which everything happens. It is here that prayer thrives.
