SUMMARY:Catholic Social Justice Teaching
DESCRIPTION:This is an online course and\, as such\, does not have specific dates or times. \nIn collaboration with the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference Office for Justice Ecology and Peace\, BBI-TAITE offers this course as an online\, work-at-your-own-pace course supported by an Online Learning Platform (OLP) and a lecturer who works with participants within the platform and via email. \nOver four Modules\, we will introduce you to the tradition of Catholic Social Teaching. It is a long and well-established tradition\, with a practice of listening to the needs of the people and the earth and responding with a heart for justice and responsible action. As you will be aware\, a Catholic School is a learning environment suffused with justice and care for the earth. \nThe course consists of\n• 8 modules offered either weekly or fortnightly;\n• Under the oversight of an online lecturer;\n• All material is available online;\n• Participants complete a post for each module which is responded to by the online lecturer.\n• A digital certificate is provided for successful completion of the modules and the posts. \nOnline Lecturers: Mr Peter Arndt & Prof Gerard Moore
