SUMMARY:ACSL Leaders and Leadership Teams Program
DESCRIPTION:A professional development program supporting Catholic leaders to strengthen leadership\, culture and accountability. \nGrow your safeguarding skills while meeting your statutory and NCSS requirements. \nThe hybrid format involves: \nPhase 1 – A half-day Introductory session on the scheduled date. \nExplores themes of safeguarding culture and compliance and tools for supporting your safeguarding decisions as leaders. \nPhase 2 (6 weeks) Online modules to be completed through our LMS \no Safeguarding Refresher \no The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and National Catholic Safeguarding Standards \no Safeguarding Responsibilities of Church Authorities \no Managing Complaints Effectively at the Leadership Level \no Managing and Mitigating Safeguarding Risks \no Safeguarding in the Digital World \nReflective Practice \nDuring Phase 2\, learners are encouraged to participate in a weekly online asynchronous reflection forum\, where we post a reflection question and learners within this cohort can respond and discuss their responses. This provides both a reflective practice and an interaction and builds the learning community. \nPhase 3 A reflection and summation session – online\, timed to be approximately 6 weeks after Phase 1. \nThe program includes access to a training manual and reference materials. The program has been designed for leadership teams and focuses on cultural change\, safeguarding policies\, and procedures at the leadership level. \nTo ensure the integrity of the program\, numbers within each cohort are limited.
