This is an invitation to join a conversation with leaders of the Christian Family Movement (CFM), a Cardijn-inspired movement to which Pope Leo’s parents also belonged.
Founded in the USA in the late 1940s, the CFM spread to Australia during the 1960s, only a decade later.
Now the current CFM leadership team is looking for opportunities to relaunch the movement here.
The Australian Cardijn Institute and the Cardijn Community are therefore hosting American couple, John and Lauri Przybysz, along with Mexican couple Sergio and Dora Trevino in an online conversation at 10am on Saturday 5 September 2026.
Sergio and Dora, who are co-presidents of CFM International, live in Monterrey Mexico. They are working at expanding CFM in Africa now. John and Lauri are the vice-president couple working alongside Sergio and Dora.
