The Pan-American Synodal Ecosystem “Together” (Juntos/Insieme) launches a Global (Massive Open Online Course) MOOC to explore and implement the Final Document of the Synod on Synodality starting October 20, 2025
The Synod on Synodality has entered its third phase —implementation— calling the Church to translate discernment into concrete actions that reshape relationships, structures, and pastoral priorities in light of the Final Document of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops. In response, the Pan-American Synodal Ecosystem “Together” (Juntos/Insieme) is launching a free, intercontinental Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) to explore key themes of the Document. Offered in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, the course features leading international experts —theologians, pastoralists and canonists—, most of whom have participated in the Synod on Synodality and the Synod of the Church in Italy.
The initiative is a collaboration of the Latin American Episcopal Council (CELAM–CEBITEPAL), the Latin American Confederation of Religious Women and Men (CLAR), the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University (JST–SCU), and the Latin American Observatory of Synodality. Thousands of participants worldwide —bishops, clergy, religious, pastoral agents, lay movements, parishes, and ecclesial communities— are expected to join, gaining both an introduction to the Final Document and a commitment to its practical implementation.
