This session has been designed for those with leadership responsibilities in Catholic organisations including bishops and congregational leaders of religious institutes. This training has been written to meet the requirements of NCSS Standard 5.3.2

It is held in two sessions around six weeks apart.

ACSL’s Leaders and Leadership Team Program will provide learners with comprehensive professional
learning about their safeguarding responsibilities within the Catholic Church. This program will support
learners to build their organisational safeguarding capacity, including modules on online safeguarding,
managing and mitigating safeguarding risks and managing safeguarding complaints effectively at a
leadership level.
This program combines interactive and flexible learning. Normally offered over a six week period, across
three phases as described below
